International Data Science for Pavements Symposium

The first annual International Data Science for Pavements Symposium (DSPS) seeks to broaden awareness of data science solutions and tools for pavement engineering. The event will include cutting-edge research, DOT presentations, roundtables, workshops, and many opportunities for networking. The event also hosts a student data competition, which encourages student groups to seek AI solutions to pavement condition monitoring. The best entries will improve the accuracy of the identification of seven main distress types through data cleaning, annotation, and augmentation strategies.
