NCHRP Research Report 1187: A Data-Driven Tool for Optimizing Maintenance Technician Staffing in Highway Fleet Operations, produced by TRB’s National Cooperative Highway Research Program, helps transportation agencies make transparent, consistent, and defensible workforce planning decisions.
