To provide a full understanding of the asset management strategies practiced by New York State DOT, the New York State Thruway Authority, and other ancillary owners of the NHS, this TAMP addresses all bridges and pavements that are on the National Highway System (NHS), with special emphasis on the portions of the NHS that are eligible for funding from the NYSDOT comprehensive program.
