"Data for TPM" is a 90-minute online course that introduces agencies to the legislation and regulation related to TPM data management. The course outlines a number of topics regarding the topic—including gathering the data required for TPM, prepping data for different audiences, identifying methods to deliver data, and addressing data quality.

This one-hour online training course provides a time efficient way for agencies to understand the nuances of communicating and reporting on TPM. The course offers interactive features (e.g knowledge checks) to engage its audience. The goal of the course is for participants to understand how TPM increases transparency and accountability, how data analysis can be implemented for transportation performance, the differences between internal and external reporting of TPM, and the landscape of additional TPM resources currently available.

The Baldridge Performance Excellence Program guides organization through their framework—beginning with a self assessment. After completing the self assessment, the program provides numerous tools, products, and services to help improve your agency's performance based on your self assessment results.

The online course, "Measuring Process and Organizational Performance," is designed to help companies improve their performance. The curriculum is built for personnel of any area—human resources, finances, sales, etc.—but is most applicable for quality managers and engineers. The course consists of 8 hours of material and covers a range of topics: from how to create the appropriate metrics to measure company performance to using chosen metrics to define organizational actions.

This two-day course, offered by the National Transit Institute (NTI) at Rutgers University, delves into the USDOT performance-based planning and programming (PBPP) framework. More specifically, the course establishes the USDOT PBPP framework, reveals its relation to existing PBPP processes, and lastly connects these topics to TPM and the TPM requirements. The course if free for members of transit agencies, federal agencies, MPOs, and State DOTs. Fee details are outlined below.

This course provides a complete overview of the transportation planning process for transportation professionals. The overview covers all of the legislative requirements, the content and purpose of existing transportation plans, and the steps to implementing a performance-based approach to planning and programming.

This one-day NHI course is a condensed version of Transportation Performance Management for Safety. The curriculum first offers an explanation of safety performance management's relation to performance-based planning. The class then breaks down each of the key TPM elements of safety performance: measures, data, target setting, resource allocation, and reporting.

Transportation practitioners in this course will learn to calculate pavement performance measures, establish pavement performance targets, report pavement performance, and assess progress toward achieving pavement performance targets. This course centers around a featured powerpoint presentation. Each slide has an accompanying voice-over to help you understand the concepts of focus.

Transportation practitioners will learn to calculate, analyze, and report highway system performance measures in this course. The course consists of the following 7 modules:

This course gives transportation professionals an introduction to performance management and its fundamental concepts.

This one-day course begins with an overview of key TPM concepts. As the course progresses, the curriculum narrows its focus toward TPM specifically for bridges. The bridge-related TPM content includes a breakdown of all the related rules, the performance data for bridge analysis, and guidance for target setting and reporting.

This course, titled "Monitoring and Adjustment for TPM," is a 1.5-hour course offered by NHI to help transportation practitioners develop a feedback loop to refine planning, programming, and target-setting decisions. Upon completion of the course, participants will understand how to identify to use performance data for monitoring to make data-driven adjustment decisions. This online instructor-led course familiarizes transportation agencies with the performance-based planning and programming (PBPP) framework. Participants will leave this two-day course with an understanding of how to effectively apply performance management principles with the PBPP process, how to connect PBPP with other performance management activities, and how to assess and learn from other agencies' PBPP processes.

This course is designed to help agencies improve management and use of data to meet TPM requirements of 23 CFR 490, MAP-21, and FAST. This data management course can also be useful for agencies that wish to undertake improvements at all stages of the data life cycle.

This web-based training breaks down the key concepts of asset management, introducing new terms and ways of thinking about asset management as the course progresses. The course outline features two lessons titled
