Alabama DOT TAMP 2022

Alabama DOT TAMP 2022

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) strives to find innovative and cost-effective approaches for improving the state’s transportation system. The development of ALDOT’s Transportation Asset Management Plan (TAMP) is consistent with ALDOT’s desire to make data-driven spending decisions related to its assets. In the spring of 2022, ALDOT updated its TAMP to satisfy the requirement that State DOTs update and resubmit asset management plan development processes to the FHWA for a new process certification at least every four years. The TAMP was amended in December of 2022 to address additional requirements from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
